Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU4-72P RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU4-72P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher RNU4-72P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU4-72P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV show a favorable association.

ACC, LIHC, and LUAD are the cancer types where RNU4-72P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
