Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU4-53P RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU4-53P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher RNU4-53P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU4-53P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and LAML show a favorable association.

UVM, LUAD, and TGCT are the cancer types where RNU4-53P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
