Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU4-36P RNA is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU4-36P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher RNU4-36P RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU4-36P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and ESCA show a favorable association.

LIHC, PAAD, and LGG are the cancer types where RNU4-36P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
