Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU2-5P RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU2-5P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher RNU2-5P RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU2-5P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and LAML show a favorable association.

DLBC, ACC, and CHOL are the cancer types where RNU2-5P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
