Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU1-75P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 7 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNU1-75P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where RNU1-75P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNU1-75P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LIHC and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.

LIHC, KICH, and THCA are the cancer types where RNU1-75P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
