Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU1-22P RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU1-22P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher RNU1-22P RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU1-22P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and ACC show a favorable association.

SKCM, STAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where RNU1-22P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
