Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU1-105P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNU1-105P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where RNU1-105P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNU1-105P is over-expressed in tumor.
THCA are the cancer types where RNU1-105P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
