Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNF6 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNF6 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher RNF6 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNF6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and UCEC show a favorable association.
CESC, KIRC, and ESCA are the cancer types where RNF6 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
