Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNF31 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RNF31 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher RNF31 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNF31 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC are the cancer types where RNF31 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
