Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNF214 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RNF214 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher RNF214 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNF214 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

SKCM, BLCA, and PRAD are the cancer types where RNF214 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
