Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNF182 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNF182 data layer compared with 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher RNF182 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNF182 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as MESO and DLBC show a favorable association.

STAD, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where RNF182 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
