Across TCGA patient cohorts, RNF138 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 9,410 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RNF138-associated genes across cancer lineages are CCNF, POLE, and AFG3L2. Each is linked with RNF138 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RNF138-to-partner and partner-to-RNF138 results are reported.
