Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNF138 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNF138 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher RNF138 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNF138 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and COAD show a favorable association.

ACC, MESO, and BRCA are the cancer types where RNF138 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
