Across TCGA patient cohorts, RNASE2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,821 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RNASE2-associated genes across cancer lineages are LILRB2, MEFV, and CEACAM4. Each is linked with RNASE2 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RNASE2-to-partner and partner-to-RNASE2 results are reported.
