Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNA5SP37 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNA5SP37’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where RNA5SP37 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNA5SP37 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BRCA and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
COAD, BRCA, and THCA are the cancer types where RNA5SP37 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
