Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SL778P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 2 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SL778P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where RN7SL778P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SL778P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as ESCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
ESCA and STAD are the cancer types where RN7SL778P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
