Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SL268P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 12 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SL268P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where RN7SL268P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SL268P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRC and KIRP show the opposite, repressed pattern.
KIRC, CHOL, and KIRP are the cancer types where RN7SL268P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
