Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SL253P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SL253P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where RN7SL253P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SL253P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUSC and COAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
THCA, PRAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where RN7SL253P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
