Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SL116P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 4 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SL116P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where RN7SL116P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SL116P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUSC and ESCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

UCEC, LUSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where RN7SL116P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
