Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RN7SKP259 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RN7SKP259’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where RN7SKP259 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RN7SKP259 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
COAD, KIRC, and BRCA are the cancer types where RN7SKP259 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
