Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RMND5A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RMND5A data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher RMND5A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RMND5A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
OV, ESCA, and LUSC are the cancer types where RMND5A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
