Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RIT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RIT1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher RIT1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RIT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM and CHOL are the cancer types where RIT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
