Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RIMS1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RIMS1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher RIMS1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RIMS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LIHC show a favorable association.

UCEC, MESO, and OV are the cancer types where RIMS1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
