Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RGS3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RGS3 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher RGS3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RGS3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and UCEC show a favorable association.

LSCC, CCRCC, and UCEC are the cancer types where RGS3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
