Across TCGA patient cohorts, RGS12 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,395 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RGS12-associated genes across cancer lineages are BMERB1, NOP14-AS1, and MAST4. Each is linked with RGS12 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RGS12-to-partner and partner-to-RGS12 results are reported.
