Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RFPL4AL1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RFPL4AL1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher RFPL4AL1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RFPL4AL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and DLBC show a favorable association.

KICH, LUAD, and CESC are the cancer types where RFPL4AL1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
