Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RERG-IT1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RERG-IT1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher RERG-IT1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RERG-IT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ACC and UCS show a favorable association.

ACC, UCS, and BRCA are the cancer types where RERG-IT1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
