Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, REG3G RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated REG3G data layer compared with 7 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher REG3G RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated REG3G expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CHOL and READ show a favorable association.

CESC, LUAD, and UVM are the cancer types where REG3G RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
