Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, REG3G Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated REG3G data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher REG3G Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated REG3G expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.
UCS, SKCM, and SCLC are the cancer types where REG3G Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
