Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, REG1B RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated REG1B data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher REG1B RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated REG1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and READ show a favorable association.
ACC, UVM, and SKCM are the cancer types where REG1B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
