Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, REG1B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated REG1B data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher REG1B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated REG1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.

ESCA, UCEC, and GBM are the cancer types where REG1B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
