Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, REC8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated REC8 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher REC8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated REC8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRP and BRCA are the cancer types where REC8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
