Across TCGA patient cohorts, REC8 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,961 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible REC8-associated genes across cancer lineages are PLTP, DNAJC3, and DHRS12. Each is linked with REC8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both REC8-to-partner and partner-to-REC8 results are reported.
