Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RCE1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RCE1 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher RCE1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RCE1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, UCEC, and SARC are the cancer types where RCE1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
