Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RCC1L RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RCC1L data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher RCC1L RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RCC1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and UCEC show a favorable association.
KICH, LGG, and UVM are the cancer types where RCC1L RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
