Across TCGA patient cohorts, RCAN2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,513 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RCAN2-associated genes across cancer lineages are SMAD7, MAPK3, and TUBB4A. Each is linked with RCAN2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RCAN2-to-partner and partner-to-RCAN2 results are reported.
