Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RBM26 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RBM26 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher RBM26 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RBM26 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, UCS, and UCEC are the cancer types where RBM26 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
