Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RBM22P4 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RBM22P4’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where RBM22P4 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RBM22P4 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
UCEC, THCA, and LIHC are the cancer types where RBM22P4 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
