Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RARRES2P9 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RARRES2P9’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where RARRES2P9 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RARRES2P9 is over-expressed in tumor.
PRAD are the cancer types where RARRES2P9 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
