Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAP1B RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RAP1B data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher RAP1B RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAP1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and SKCM show a favorable association.
MESO, UVM, and CESC are the cancer types where RAP1B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
