Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAD23A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RAD23A data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher RAD23A mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAD23A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where RAD23A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
