Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAB5C RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RAB5C data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 8 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher RAB5C RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAB5C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and SCLC show a favorable association.

COAD, MESO, and LIHC are the cancer types where RAB5C RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
