Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAB5C mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RAB5C data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher RAB5C mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAB5C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC show a favorable association.

GBM, UCEC, and PDAC are the cancer types where RAB5C mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
