Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAB40C mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RAB40C data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher RAB40C mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAB40C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and LUAD show a favorable association.

CCRCC, GBM, and LUAD are the cancer types where RAB40C mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
