Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAB27A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RAB27A data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher RAB27A mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAB27A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and LSCC show a favorable association.

LUAD, CCRCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where RAB27A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
