Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, QSOX1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated QSOX1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher QSOX1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated QSOX1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC, KICH, and UCEC are the cancer types where QSOX1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
