Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PYGO1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PYGO1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PYGO1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PYGO1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and GBM show a favorable association.
UCEC, LUAD, and GBM are the cancer types where PYGO1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
