Across TCGA patient cohorts, PYGM mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,901 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PYGM-associated genes across cancer lineages are ORC1, CNOT3, and EIF5AL1. Each is linked with PYGM in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PYGM-to-partner and partner-to-PYGM results are reported.
