Across TCGA patient cohorts, PYGL mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,367 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PYGL-associated genes across cancer lineages are CBARP, SLC7A4, and LINC01651. Each is linked with PYGL in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PYGL-to-partner and partner-to-PYGL results are reported.
