Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PXN Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PXN data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher PXN Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PXN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV show a favorable association.
COAD, OV, and UCEC are the cancer types where PXN Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
